FAME PH Holds Pizza-Making and Meat Processing Workshop in Barangay Militar, Palayan City
In a continued effort to support poverty alleviation through entrepreneurship, FAME PH recently held a successful pizza-making and meat processing workshop in Barangay Militar, Palayan City. The event, spearheaded by FAME PH Chairman Engr. Joliber Mapiles and National President Ms. Ghie Guevarra, was conducted in cooperation with Barangay Militar Chairman and its Sanggunian.
The workshop, part of FAME PH’s flagship program “Sugpuin ang Kahirapan Movement,” was attended by approximately 60 members of the women’s organization in the barangay. Chef Marissa Manzano, alongside Ms. Bernadette Guevarra and their teams, led the training as facilitators, providing hands-on guidance to participants.
The event was officially opened by Palayan City Mayor Vianne Cuevas, who expressed her support for initiatives that empower local communities through skills training and livelihood opportunities. The workshop aimed to equip attendees with practical skills in pizza-making and meat processing, enabling them to start small businesses or enhance their existing ones.
This workshop is a testament to FAME PH’s commitment to creating sustainable solutions for poverty through entrepreneurship and capacity-building programs in local communities.
